I have a BT headset that I have paired and connected to my Arch install. It is fully up to date. I have been able to pair and connect my headset and it works for a few minutes then BT is turned off and it disconnects.
According to rfkill,. it is not blocked:

When it shuts down bluetooth and disconnects the headset, I get this in the journal:

and the BT icon disappears from the tray and the sound stops. If I turn it back on it works for a short while then turns off again.

Also/otherwise maybe btusb.enable_autosuspend=n or usbcore.autosuspend=-1 and nb. that userspace power management tools like TLP may override this and need to be configured accordingly
And if there is a "parallel OS", see the 3rd link below as well.
