PCIe Wireless Networking Interface Not Using Wireless Driver

Hello,

I am attempting to use an old ASUS WiFi card I have. Upon further investigation, I found that it was being recognized by the UEFI setup, but not the operating system.

lspci -k -s 05:00.0

results in this:

05:00.0 Network controller: Ralink corp. RT5592 PCIe Wireless Network Adapter
Subsystem: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Device 851a
        Kernel modules: wl

Without this network card, I do not have any access to the internet. Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: I am running terminal-only at the moment.

Re: PCIe Wireless Networking Interface Not Using Wireless Driver

After half of the day spent, I can say I was unable to install the driver. I kept running into roadblocks, and I have reached the conclusion that perhaps it won't work on this machine. Unless you have any other suggestions, I will probably be buying a new network card.

Thanks.
