Good afternoon,
I'm having trouble with the audio system. I have Pipewire with Wireplumber and pipewire-pulse, but there are no sources or sinks at all with pactl list sources and pactl list sinks. My sound card is working fine in Windows (I'm dual booting) and there are apparently no pulseaudio profiles at all.
Here's some additional information:
pactl list cards

How could I fix the audio setup i my system? Would generating a default pulseaudio profile of sorts fix this?
Offline
What's the actual system (laptop vendor/model) here? Also the aplay command is a lowercase l and an uppercase L, not an i.
The codec seems to register only a headphone out not an speaker out. Try
sudo alsactl init
if you have a parallel Windows installation make sure fast boot is disabled.

Sorry, here's the right aplay -lL

The 'fast boot' in your BIOS and Windows 'fast start' are completely different things, you need to disable the latter...

Apologies, I misunderstood. In any case, Windows "fast start" was already disabled before. I just tried turning it on and back off to see if anything changed, but no luck.

I didn't, but I did have pipewire-alsa. I tried installing pulseaudio-alsa as well just in case, also no change.
