XFCE4-Panel not launching on user login

Hello, this is my first post to the Arch forums so I hope my post makes some sense and also is readable. This is also my first time back in the Linux ecosystem in sometime so I'm still learning how to get things to properly work.

I am running the current version of Arch with XORG and BSPWM for a tiling layout. I am also using Ly for a display manager. I am having a lot of trouble getting XFCE4-Panel to autohstart when logging in. I have tried to both make a .service file and using systemctl to get work, as well as editing the .xinitrc to try and have xfce4-panel execute when the desktop loads, but nothing works. I have read through as much of the documentation (as I can understand, at least) on XOrg and XFCE4-Panel to get it to work, but nothing seems to happen. Is there a possible step I'm missing? I'd really like to get this working, or know if I have to switch to a different panel entirely. Thank you for your help.

EDIT: If anything needs to be clarified such as files I've created or modified I don't mind posting those, I just didn't know what to include on my first post. Thank you for the understanding.

Re: XFCE4-Panel not launching on user login

I am also using Ly for a display manager.

I'd reconsider that - at least for the moment. Ly has a track record of broken sessions and weird variables being exported.

W/o seeing either file it's completely impossible to say whether there're issues w/ them.
Also the outputs of

loginctl session-status
printenv

Sanity check: you can start the panel manually?

I was actually able to solve this issue by working with the BSPWMRC file itself, the documentation wasn't super clear on adding things to it to handle (or at least, it was hard to make sense of as a new user). I appreciate your response.
