nvidia-switch "1"
and
optimus-manager --switch nvidia
when i run these 2 commands it gives me same result

Your laptop looks like a x86_64 system, so this subboard is not a good choice.

I suggest you report this thread and request moving it to 'newbie corner' .

You should add the ouput of lspci -k , whether you're using X or wayland , and how you are starting them.

Welcome to archlinux forums.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

No, you were supposed to ask Staff to move the post, not repost it yourself.

Hiradexo wrote:

Don't do that either. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Genera … es#Bumping

I closed your other thread and will move this one. Next time, do not cross post.

I would suggest you read How to Post before you post again.

Moving to Newbie Corner.

Re: Nvidia driver is not working

Why are you trying to use either of those? Remove both nvidia-switch and optimus-manager, install nvidia-prime, reboot.

After having rebooted/restarted Xorg check whether prime run works

prime-run glxinfo -B

If that doesn't work either, post your dmesg and xorg.log

Re: Nvidia driver is not working

Don't bump, edit your post if nobody has replied.

Post the output of the command V1del posted in #6 and specify what minecraft implementation you use and how you assessed that "prime worked".
Also check the GPU load in nvidia-smi and your CPU load while playing - the GPU isn't necessarily the limiting factor.
If you're running a compositor or the game itself syncs and you've a 120Hz monitor, you're simply vsync'ing.

optimus-manager will not get you from 120 fps to 1000 fps (if it does anything)

Can't understand if it's bad or fine...

Did you check if fps are capped?
Is V-Sync on or off?

I didn't read anything in yours posts about nVIDIA drivers... Are they installed?

Re: Nvidia driver is not working

The log is from

[   167.335] (==) Log file: "/home/hirad/.local/share/xorg/Xorg.0.log", Time: Fri Sep  9 00:01:51 2022
[   167.340] (++) Using config file: "/home/hirad/xorg.conf.new"

references the nvidia driver but the nvidia kernel module isn't loaded.
The increasingly relevant information, your system journal, is still missing
