netctl, ipvlan

I use netctl for configuring networking of my server.
Is it possible to make a network profile (/etc/netctl/profile.file) for for the ipvlan type?
Could you show me an example?

Re: netctl, ipvlan

The question is not about type vlan. It's about type ipvlan. This one:

ip link add ipvlan1 link eth0 type ipvlan mode l2

Unfortunately the directory /etc/netctl/examples/ does not have any example related to ipvlan.

Re: netctl, ipvlan

Irrelevant, then. I thought you might be doing something like this.

Re: netctl, ipvlan

Maybe a suitable profile can be adapted from wired static or dhcp profiles.

How do you want ipvlan1 to be setup ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
