nouveau driver fails after screen blanking

I am running arch on MSI modern 14, core i7+irix XE graphics, Nvidia TU117M (GeForce  MX450) GPU.

After recent update I noticed that laptop display fails when screen goes blank due to inactivity. Here is the related log entries.

This can be reproduced every time, by running "xset dpms 0 0 1" or "xset dpms force off". After failed display (blank screen), arch remains responsive and it is possible to run poweroff safely.

Issue can be resolved with linux-lts kernel.

I have seen similar posts on the forum but with other GPU cards, the issue may be related but I am not sure, therefore I am creating this new thread.
