CPU too hot

My CPU Ryzen 5600G is too hot. On Arch it is around 40C, and I have to undervolt and lose performance and on Windows it is 50C, how do I fix this.
Armoury Crate on Windows shows, only the CPU cooler at 2k RPM, even if I set the fan speed to full. It shows 0 RPM of the 2 Chasis fans, In the BIOS, I made the CPU Cooler at max, always and I don't feel any difference in the fan noise when going between, low and high tasks, so it is working but the Chasis fans were at 0 RPM, so I didn't touch them. Tell me if this was stupid to do Edit: Before it was ok.

Specs:
Ryzen 5600G with Stock Cooler
ASUS TUF GAMING A520M-PLUS
16GB RAM 3200MHz
RX 6500XT OC 4GB

OK was 30 - 40C on Windows but I don't remember for Linux, so it may be 30C for that.

Re: CPU too hot

When your CPU was not so hot? What did you do after that? Just update the system or bios? Or maybe environment temperature get higher at your place.

Re: CPU too hot

It looks good. And I forgot about output of 'sensors'. All it is in idle load?

amdgpu-pci-0300
Adapter: PCI adapter
vddgfx: 700.00 mV
fan1: 1782 RPM (min = 0 RPM, max = 3300 RPM)

k10temp-pci-00c3

Tctl: +33.8°C

Ignore the 90W GPU, the CPU is 65W and also ignore the fan that is of the GPU and I keep it high, because I can. It can't detect the other fans and Where is the CPU temps that showed before I installed the Graphics Card. But the Handy GNOME Extension shows it here's an image:

Edit: Forgot to mention that these are undervolted temps

Right temp for ryzen in sensor output is "tdie"... What is number for tdie?

Re: CPU too hot

So your temperatures are low, you don't have to do anything. Mine, on old system, are higher on idle:

nouveau-pci-0400
Adapter: PCI adapter
GPU core: 925.00 mV (min = +0.60 V, max = +1.20 V)
fan1: 1050 RPM
temp1: +38.0°C (high = +95.0°C, hyst = +3.0°C)
                       (crit = +105.0°C, hyst = +5.0°C)
                       (emerg = +135.0°C, hyst = +5.0°C)

atk0110-acpi-0
Adapter: ACPI interface
Vcore Voltage: 1.26 V (min = +0.85 V, max = +1.60 V)
 +3.3 Voltage: 3.31 V (min = +2.97 V, max = +3.63 V)
 +5 Voltage: 5.07 V (min = +4.50 V, max = +5.50 V)
 +12 Voltage: 12.20 V (min = +10.20 V, max = +13.80 V)
CPU FAN Speed: 1268 RPM (min = 600 RPM, max = 7200 RPM)
CHASSIS FAN Speed: 0 RPM (min = 800 RPM, max = 7200 RPM)
CPU Temperature: +41.5°C (high = +60.0°C, crit = +95.0°C)
MB Temperature: +57.0°C (high = +45.0°C, crit = +95.0°C)

coretemp-isa-0000
Adapter: ISA adapter
Core 0: +54.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)
Core 1: +55.0°C (high = +86.0°C, crit = +100.0°C)

But I'm too lazy to do something with it. smile

No Right now, I don't have it[BOLD]undervolted[/BOLD] right now and it is 40C

Re: CPU too hot

https://bbs.archlinux.org/help.php#bbcode
40°C isn't "hot" for a CPU by any means, windows is reportedly even "hotter" - so I really don't understand what this thread is about.
The CPU is hot™ because either some process is stressing it (so you want to figure which that is) or because you're not blowing enough™ air against it, so you want to review your HW configuration.

WTF is the purpose/question of this thread?

No, It is 40C in Linux and goes up quickly and it is 50C and goes up quickly in Windows. Also be calmer.

Re: CPU too hot

50°C is still not hot and you still didn't explain the purpose of this thread.
If the temperature is toohigh™ in linux and windows: blow more air against the CPU. Or check the seating/thermal paste.

No, I mean that when I was just browsing without undervolting and it was 40C when I was in Idle, and just browsing for a few seconds it became 50C, When I launched UE5, it quickly 75C, when I spent messing around in the default scene, with the chairs. If, I undervolt it becomes 30-40-50C again. Also there's a mistake, in your post, you wrote toohigh(TM) instead of too high.
