Im trying to setup a bootsplash for my system. I have been trying to follow www.bootsplash.org but i am really becomeing lost. Is there anything special i need to do to make this work on my Arch system?

This is how to do it for kernel 2.4.21, what about 2.6.4? Is it the same process?

Just do the same thing and get the patch from bootsplash.de

I don't know if you're interested, but I created a packaged bootsplash-patched kernel 2.6.7, just type
wget http://rensel.altervista.org/altro/kern … pkg.tar.gz
And when you get it work try my ArchPool theme 8) (on bootsplash.de)

He/She might want to use it.. I never and will never keep a precompiled kernel on m hd in use..
Besides pre compiled 2.6 kernels never work for me..
