Bootsplash

Im trying to setup a bootsplash for my system. I have been trying to follow www.bootsplash.org but i am really becomeing lost. Is there anything special i need to do to make this work on my Arch system?

This is how to do it for kernel 2.4.21, what about 2.6.4? Is it the same process?

I don't know if you're interested, but I created a packaged bootsplash-patched kernel 2.6.7, just type
wget http://rensel.altervista.org/altro/kern … pkg.tar.gz
And when you get it work try my ArchPool theme  8)  (on bootsplash.de)

He/She might want to use it.. I never and will never keep a precompiled kernel on m hd in use..
Besides pre compiled 2.6 kernels never work for me..
