System not sleeping on idle after waking up remotely (wake on lan)

Hi All,

When I wake my server up remotely (using wake on lan), it won't go to sleep automatically when idle. It stays with the screen on, until I physically move the mouse. After that it goes to sleep on idle as it should.

I'm using KDE.

Any ideas on how I can trace the problem?

Alternately, is there a simple way I can tell the DE to "start counting idle time"?

Thanks,

GI
