I killed all nautilus processes. I also tried export GSK_RENDERER=cairo, as you mentioned in a post with reddit link, but situation is the same.

The bug in the OP revolved around multiple outputs w/ different frequencies, yours is as basic as it can get, so not the same problem.
Undo the GSK_RENDERER=cairo export and file a bug against mutter (the gnome WM) upstream.
Make sure you've tried the default adwaita theme.

It's not solved for now, but the subject would better indicate that there's an artifact w/ gnome's aero-snap transition effect.
