Issue with patched fonts: many glyphs are missing.

I am having an issue with patched fonts: many glyphs are missing. This happens on my arch linux and ONLY on my ARCHLINUX. I can assure you the issue is not with the font itself (Iosevka Custom Extended) or the apps I am using (wezterm, st, firefox) because I use the same font and apps everywhere else but only on my current archlinux installation I find this problem. I have already tried swtiching to gnome and it didnt help. I also reinstalled my arch to set it to the linux-lts kernel instead of the newest kernel and that also didnt change anything.

Since those are the relevant elements of the system the inference is that there is no issue with the system. Maybe your eyes are broken…

You can assure nothing because you don't know where the problem is - if you did, you'd not be here.

fc-list | grep -i Iosevka

Then record at least one codepoint (utf-8 hex number) for a glyph you're missing, what is supposed to print it and what you see instead to get this going anywhere.

On a limb:

localectl
