Gnome Network Manager interference with PF Sense LAN Interface

Hi,

I'm new to networking and am seeking help with finding the pertinent information regarding how to adjust/change the default mini PC LAN IP address from 198.168.1.1 to a different address.

I believe the Gnome Network Manager I have installed on Arch 6.3.9 is causing my network to fail if I change the LAN IP Address from the PF Sense Interfaces tab.

Please do not disregard as non relevant to this forum, as it seems relevant to me since some of the other users may have experience with this exact key issue here, and may recommend an alternative Display Manager or a thread on another forum, perhaps?

thanks so much ~ M.

Re: Gnome Network Manager interference with PF Sense LAN Interface

this problem hath been resolved, it was the attempted MAC spoof from the pfsense interface that allows Gnome Network Manager to kill it ~ not sure why though!!

Please remember to mark your thread [SOLVED] (edit the title of your first post; you may have to shorten the title to make it fit).
