Hello.
I am about to remove the standard configuration of my vserver and replace it with the configuration I like.
But concerning vsftpd I have a problem:
I've created some users and allowed them to use the ftp with vsftpd.chroot_list.
All fine with that but if I upload a file, it is owned by $user:users. I want it to be owned by $user:www instead. How can I achieve this?
I overflew the manual page but didn't find any option that changes the group the file is owned by. Maybe I have to edit the $user's group?
Thanks for your reply.

How about 'chgrp www' and 'chmod g+s' on directories they upload into?
