Hello, I'm new to arch!

I want to signal a couple of "problems" I'm experiencing with lshwd here is my output:

01:01.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek|RTL-8139 (8139too)
01:02.0 Network controller: Intel Corp.|PRO/Wireless LAN 2200 (ipw2200)
01:04.0 CardBus bridge: ENE Technology Inc|CB1410 CardBus Controller (yenta_socket)

003:001 USB Hub: Virtual|Hub (hub)
001:001 USB Hub: Virtual|Hub (hub)
002:001 USB Hub: Virtual|Hub (hub)
---:--- Mouse: Generic PS/2 Wheel Mouse [/dev/psaux] (msintellips/2)

But:
- I'm sure my graphic controller supports the i810 drivers (I'm using it now)
- My wifi-card is the ipw2100, not ipw2200 (lspci confirmed me, and in the past I already used ipw2100 with slackware and fedora)

Who do I have to trust?

ps: my laptop is an Acer TravelMate 291Lci

Re: lshwd issues

Well, think gfx cards always shows vesa there, has always done so for me atleast "01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corp.|GeForce FX 5200 (vesa)" .

However, just blacklist ipw2200 in /etc/rc.conf , and add ipw2100 to your MODULES=() there.

Re: lshwd issues

lshwd is now a bit old and hasn't been updated to handle various changes (e.g. switch to xorg).
