I am in China, using a VPN from this site: https://www.bjchuhai.com/ (may be sketchy, but it worked for me for over 2 years now on windows). I switched to arch recently, and used wine to launch the .exe file and quite astoundingly, the vpn works....until I install anything using pacman -S. I don't know why the VPN works with wine, but I want to know what I can try to fix this issue of pacman disrupting the VPN connection. The VPN works again after restarting my computer. I am kind of new here, what information or command outputs should I post for y'all to be able to help me? Thanks!
It may also be something other than pacman that is corrupting it, but I am unsure what.
