Installation guide makes no mention of archinstall

Why the wiki Installation guide do not mention archinstall?

I know it from Phoronix.

Why should it.  They are alternative approaches.  There are pages that link to both the installation guide and archinstall information so a reader could choose one or the other.

I know it from Phoronix.

Generally this would indicate that something is either false, or grossly mischaracterized to the point of being pretty much false.  I guess this is an exception, as archinstall does indeed exist.  Though I suspect most of what phoronix would say about it is incorrect.

This has been already discussed but archinstall (like systemd-firstboot) is considered too specific to be included in the page.

But a new user would go to archlinux.org, click on "Download", and then click on "Installation Guide".

He will be redirected  to the Installation guide wiki page.

With no mention of archinstall.

How the new user knows about archinstall?

Archinstall is listed in Category:Installation process and the FAQ, which are respectively the third and fourth links in the installation guide.

New users shouldn't use archinstall.

To be completely fair, an exception would be if they have enough experience or time to do their research to understand each and every choice the installer will give them.

Note:
On the installation iso you might stumble over an "archinstall" binary.
In stark contrast to its suggestive name, it is NOT meant to be used by you to install archlinux on your individual system, but a framework to script your own local mass deployment.

One reason I remember archinstall's inception was justified with was that it increases accessibility and thus benefits handicapped users.
Do you think they are not handycapped on their first install for some reason? :-D

Why would I be *sure* of something I did not even claim.
I recited the reasoning of a particular developer.
At any rate, I wouldn't know, since I am not currently affected by a handicap.

I think / hope schard was joking.  In some of the debates of the value of the automated installer, it was claimed that the automated installer somehow increased accessibility for people with disabilities (a claim I called out as bullshit).
