headset mic not working (pulseaudio)

used to be able to get voice input using my headset with built in microphone on arch, on current clean install, I can't seem to get it to work no matter what I try, whether I plug the headset in front panel connections or from the io shield inputs

setting the profile to analog stereo duplex in pavucontrol config section

I can see the input available but no audio detected

You didn't post pacmd list-sources but outputs twice

But we can see that all your recordings go over the/a usb device are you aware of that/is that what you want? If you actually want to use the internal inputs you need to move the source-outputs accordingly to the correct device

internal inputs are not working, neither from front panel connectors nor from the mother board io from the back, that's why i resorted to audio using the fiio e10k dac, If i can somehow manage to get microphone to also work through it, that would be great
