Left channel always at max volume with Audient id14 audio interface

Hello,
i've recently installed arch linux on my desktop computer. Everything works great and audio, after installing pulseaudio (and also the utils that came with the kde-plasma DE), seemed to work out of the box.
Though: the left channel is ALWAYS sending the audio at max volume. always, no matter what the volume controls are saying - i've texted with alsamixer and the integrated audio settings of kde plasma, even tho i'm able to mute the channel (with alsamixer i cannot). I'm able to control the right channel but to hear both of the channel at the same volume i need to put everything (or just the right one) at 100%. This also appears on the audio interface itself that has LEDs for the signal it's emitting: the left channel is always on maximum, for context: i have an Audient ID14 mark 1 audio interface.
What can i do? I kinda don't know where to begin troubleshooting this issue -- Thanks!
