I am trying to follow the wiki for dovecot and have problems to understand the following sentence mentioned in the Dovecot#Dovecot_configuration paragraph:
pacman by default some containers is configured not to extract the doc directories to packages. Please edit /etc/pacman.conf to prevent this.
1. What does "container" mean in the context of pacman?
2. What does it mean to extract a directory to a package?
The manpages for pacman.conf.5, pacman.8 do not mention the word container. Is NoExtract= the setting referred by the dovecot wiki entry or is it referring to something else?

I *guess* what that's supposed to mean is "I once installed an archlinux docker and it had a pacman.conf w/ some surprising NoExtract lines in it" - anecdotally.
And it's written like I sometimes (too often) write comments here, w/o reading them before hitting submit.
The result can the be two different sentences (initial draft + refinement) merged into one, resulting in wonky grammar.
The section needs to be fixed or arguebly removed, because "random docker images do weird shit" is completely off-topic for dovecot.

Thanks for the investigation. I fixed the phrasing of the old confusing sentence and added a comment in the discussion section about whether this hint should belong there at all.
