I have installed cockpit and the cockpit-* packages (https://archlinux.org/packages/?sort=&q … =&flagged=) in an otherwise fairly vanilla test system. I can log into the webui with my username and password. I have enable a second machine in the host list from the webui. In order to create and log into this host, I needed to add my ssh key. I did this from the webui "Session > SSH keys". My ssh key is available in the list of keys and I can click the enable button.
The issue is when I log out and relogin, the ssh key is no longer enabled. I have tried this with an SSH key that has a password and does not have a password and with/without ssh-agent running.
I cannot any user level cockpit configuration files and I know the ssh keys are under sessions, so maybe they are not designed to persist. Is there a way to get cockpit to remember the ssh key?
