i3wm loading in a 1/4th portion of the screen.

So I had been using i3 for a while now(I'm not sure with what dm though,i just click i3 on the disk button while logging in probably gdm).I had wanted to install nvidia drivers and stuff for sometime and I did,but sadly,it didn't work and it just happens that my i3 windows is completely black(3/4th of it) and rest is the actual window.Also,can I get help through installing nvidia drivers and make them use.(hybrid)

Re: i3wm loading in a 1/4th portion of the screen.

I had included,this after nvidia installation(that I tried) in the i3wm config
```
exec_always xrandr --setprovideroutputsource modesetting NVIDIA-0
exec_always xrandr --auto
```

Please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General
Also the output of

xrandr -q

in the i3wm config

That's not a good location, setup the screens before or after starting i3 - "during" risks a race condition.
It's typically also not required.

I'm not sure with what DM though, i just click i3 on the disk button while logging in - probably gdm

How can you not know what DM you installed and configured?
