[SOLVED] console icons/symbols missing since update to plasma6

I have an alias for the "ll" command which does the following:
alias ll 'eza --color always -l --git -g --header --icons'

It shows colors as well as icons depending on the file type. Since yesterday, when I updated to plasma 6, no icons are shown neither my prompt in the fish shell.

Is there any remains from plasma 5 colliding with plasma 6?

I had a somewhat similar issue and I was told to install ttf-noto-emoji: that solved ths issue for me, I believe it's worth trying.
