No, you just install that as every package.
Just be aware that like every OOT module it has to match the installed kernel, so if 6.8 hits the repos before you install it (and in general) -Syu is mandatory.

Thank you so much, that fixed my issue! Your the man! So do I need for the original driver to update or stick with this one because my chipset? I'm guessing the latter.

Your chip is supported by both drivers and they've their ups and downs. Stick w/ r8168 unless it starts to give you trouble, then try r8169 (just remove the r8168 package) and if both fail you now know how to get to the relevant journals
