Re: [Unsolved]wlan0 not showing in IP link

I checked the manual and checked for keyboard switches but its all definitely just keys coz although it activated airplane mode in KDE in sway it didn't before I added the keybindings. Please help me. The WiFi is very unreliable and I am suffering with my wired mouse and the annoying trackpad on my laptop.

We're still not past

Also if there's no wifi issue as long as you're using a wired mouse then yo're facing interference between the wireless mouse and the WiFi device.
Do you use the built-in bluetooth or the logitech dongle (unified receiver) for the mouse?
If the latter, don't. And if you can't use the mouse via bluetooth for some reason, try a different USB slot for the dongle (on the other end of the case)

I don't used the reciever coz it doesn't seem to work. I also don't use the BT because BT doesn't work along with internet

So for clarification: if you don't use the mouse via bluetooth, your wifi works fine?

Re: [Unsolved]wlan0 not showing in IP link

Even with no peripheral internet doesnt work
Update: Ive tried moving the firmware away and rebooting in steps until it throwed error messages that my firmware was too old and not supported. I believe ive posted error logs at the start of the post. Is any other need? Sorry

If the issue remains, please post an updated journal after disabling bluetooth.

Re: [Unsolved]wlan0 not showing in IP link

Removing bluetoothd d and running LTS kernel didn't solve the issues. My uefi didn't show any options for disabling Bluetooth. My journalctl: http://0x0.st/Xi2B.txt EDIT: Internet doesn't work on gentoo livegui and freebsd live either. Freebsd shows similar looking errors from iwlwifi on boot. Trackpad doesn't work either even before switching to lts, I'll post details later.

Re: [Unsolved]wlan0 not showing in IP link

1. restore the firmware files
2. Try the LTS kernel
3. "module_blacklist=btintel", https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Kernel_parameters (just in case you start to worry, this is to figure whether BT is spoiling your wifi so we know what we'll ultimately have to fix)

1. I had already restored them. Should I downgrade then restore to check with LTS?
2.alr done as you had stated
3. Done
But the problems still persist

Do you mean trying a BIOS uefi update or that a uefi update is the source of the problem. I didn't manually update the uefi.

Re: [Unsolved]wlan0 not showing in IP link

You mean the changelog of the available BIOS update?
It's a wild shot anyway.

Another thing you can do is to power the system down, remove the battery, wait a couple of minutes, re-add the battery and ses whether the wifi shows up again…
