Well... I gathered a lot of stuff to customize my desktop and finally I want to show. I don't feel as if it's ready but I think it won't reach a higher state of personal perfection:

Openbox theme is mostely self-written and as you see not very complex.
At the top is conky including two slightly modified scripts from the conky thread.

I use two scripts in conky (arch-update, gmail) which are originally from vredfreak. I modified them slightly that they fit into a "conky bar":
gmail.py
conky-updates.pl
For configuration please refer to vredfreak's readme files.
The border is archieved by using conky as normal window and set by the WM theme.
