Re: December 2006 Screenshots

Well... I gathered a lot of stuff to customize my desktop and finally I want to show. I don't feel as if it's ready but I think it won't reach a higher state of personal perfection:

cleanty4.th.png

Both wallpaper and terminal colors are from two archlinux users. Thanks a lot.
Openbox theme is mostely self-written and as you see not very complex.
At the top is conky including two slightly modified scripts from the conky thread.

Just added a busy screenshot while trying to get more comfortable with wmii:

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)

Can you share your conky style? (configuration of borders, background,... etc)

Surely I can. (:
conkyrc
I use two scripts in conky (arch-update, gmail) which are originally from vredfreak. I modified them slightly that they fit into a "conky bar":
gmail.py
conky-updates.pl

For configuration please refer to vredfreak's readme files.

The border is archieved by using conky as normal window and set by the WM theme.
