For a long time, the archie version of wpa_supplicant has been without built-in madwifi support. I would like to think that this should change, since madwifi cards are quite popular, and we should try to support as many common devices in the standard packages as possible.
So, I would like to offer a netgear wg311t wireless card to the maintainer of this package/devs of Arch linux so that this can be builtin to the standard wpa_supplicant.
I read a while ago phrakture asking (jokingly?) for a donation. Do you guys still need/want this atheros hardware?
