Hello,
I am having the same trouble of browsing an Android phone's filesystem from KDE.
This patch is applied in Arch's kdeconnect-24.05.2-2 package:
https://invent.kde.org/network/kdeconne … 8968.patch
It still does not allow browsing the phone with openssh-9.8p1 nor with openssh-9.7p1.
The only combination that works is openssh-9.7p1 and kdeconnect-24.05.2-1, i.e, older packages.
Have you been able to get kdeconnect-24.05.2-2 to work nicely with openssh-9.8p1 concerning file browsing? Do you have any tips?
Thanks and regards.

Hello guys, I was having problems using kdeconnect. I just installed Arch kde plasma last night and got this error message when I tried to use kde connect
https://i.ibb.co/1rG5hFG/Screenshot-20240724-063744.png
I had to downgrade kdeconnect to ver. 24.05.1-1 and openssh ver. 9.7p1-2

After doing these changes I was able to connect my phone and use kdeconnect.

Also I had to restart after doing the downgrade.
