[SOLVED] Connection to a VPN (PPTP) via Networkmanager

Hello,

I am trying to connect to a VPN which runs on a (PPTP) protocol. I am using the Networkmanager and installed the respective PPTP-Client Plugin.

I have configured the VPN in accordance with this HowTo. It matches with other tutorials on this topic. However, when trying to connect via networkmanager to the VPN, I the icon in the task bar is blinking for half a second, as it seems to connect. But it doesn´t. Nothing else happens. I am not quite sure what is happening, I don´t know how to debug this.

Probably its best to test the connection manually first, by using PPTP Client?

Solved, the problem was my own wifi configuration on the router.
