NetworkManager fails to enable wlan0

I have installed arch with KDE Plasma 6 and NetworkManager, on fresh install I remember wifi being detected in settings but now neither can I see wifi nor bluetooth devices from settings  (Wired connection works fine). I have ran out of ideas on how to resolve this problem

journalctl has a bunch of entries stating that wlan0 is inactive:

"nmcli dev wifi" command correctly lists the available nerby wifi which is odd? I would expect it to not detect anything
"nmcli dev" commands result:

DEVICE TYPE STATE CONNECTION

Re: NetworkManager fails to enable wlan0

Disable the wpa_supplicant.service, NM invokes that itself.
