My Dell OptiPlex 3080 used to boot Arch Linux just fine, but it recently started doing a little something called not that.
I still have HoloISO loaded on my PC and it can't find init.
I've tried resetting the BIOS to defaults and factory and it still can't boot.
Maybe the issue is that I repaired my Ventoy USB in Windows

Is your issue with arch linux, holoiso, or windows ?
And which of them produces which error message exactly ?
Your "... not ..." is not a sufficient error message or description what happened or not happens...

Your title isn't titling.
Your post isn't posting.
As a result your thread isn't threading and your helpers aren't helping.
Although my hopes are low here. While your history on these forums is limited, it is 100% in violation of our community guidelines with no hints whatsoever that you have any intent to do better. Nobody here owes you anything. Perhaps you should go see how ubuntu is at ubuntuing for you.

1. my issue is with arch-based
2. modern arch and holoiso both produce the error message
3. the actual error messages are:
grep: /init: No such file or directory
grep: /init: No such file or directory
grep: /init: No such file or directory
######### INIT NOT FOUND #########
/ventoy/busybox/sh: can't access tty: job control turned off

There're many layers to this truth.
Try http://archlinux.org/download/ and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Installation_guide and until then re-read https://bbs.archlinux.org/misc.php?action=rules
And just as a sanity check: do you maybe also get an error that the initramfs could not be decompressed?
