Usually my wifi speed should be somewhere between 80mbs to 100 yet i can barely get 30. i've already tried to disable ipv6 but that kills my connection more bringing it down to single digits.
lspci -k output is
Network controller: Broadcom Inc. and subsidiaries BCM43224 802.11a/b/g/n (rev 01)
Subsystem: Dell Wireless 1520 Half-size Mini PCIe Card
Kernel driver in use: bcma-pci-bridge
Kernel modules: bcma
if there is anything else you want me to list please tell me. much appreciated.

I think you should be using the wl driver with that card. The wiki has a page for that.

That should get handled by the wl package, does it say "kernel module in use" for both? The module in use line is what's relevant, the other lists the modules that are technically available.
