Help getting frostwire to work.

I am getting a VERY LONG OUTPUT of errors..

Java exec found in PATH. Verifying...

frostwire 4.13.1.4-1 is now in extra. See how that goes.

FWIW, the previous version gave the error you posted above for me. 4.13 at least starts properly for me, haven't tested further yet.

The program seems to work pretty well for me, but does anyone know how i can quit it? Using "Close" from the menu just minimizes the window for me (i'm using KDE by the way). I have to resort to xkill which doesn't seem like the "proper" way to me.

IIRC there is a setting for that in preferences....something like "when closing Frostwire minimize to system tray" uncheck this I think.

usually programs that minimize to system tray can be closed by right-clicking the icon in systray and chosing exit (or something similar)

I don't get a systray icon with frostwire actually. But I did find that I could change the "shutdown behavior" in the system tray section of the options menu. So it works properly now.
