Re: The Official Hello Everyone Thread

Hi everyone!

Broken arch package after an update brought me here. Learned I can do a downgrade using cached pacman/pkg, and I managed to fix the issue I had by interpolating between the different answers in the forum. Wanted to try and see how I can contribute making the arch distro more stable with respect to updates and also learn more about the kernel itself.

I've been using different linux distros since high-school (almost ~12 years since smile ) , started from ubuntu and debian, went over to arch, tried fedora and had a little excursion with kali, then went back to ubuntu and now after getting a after my PhD I am back to Arch smile

Re: The Official Hello Everyone Thread

Hi everyone !

Been using Linux for the last 4 years now (almost 5), started with Ubuntu, then Kubuntu, and recently Arch on a brand-new laptop. Absolutely love using it with KDE.
Pacman and yay are amazing, managing packages on Ubuntu quickly became chaos.
