Display freezes randomly

This is not an Arch specific issue, as I've found this to happen on other distros too such as Fedora. Not sure what to be exact. I can confirm that the stock kernel too is affected. Sometimes upon launching an application at even at random the display with completely freeze everything, although sometimes I am able to move the mouse cursor. Audio playback seems to work fine after the freeze.

Here are the last lines of the log at time of the freeze (journalctl -b -1 --no-pager | grep amdgpu):

Re: Display freezes randomly

Grepping for random strings won't do - there's no output attched to that GPU so it's unlikely even relevant.
Please post your complete system journal for the boot:

sudo journalctl -b | curl -F 'file=@-' 0x0.st

Here's the latest crash that occurred after my laptop went to sleep: https://0x0.st/8K3V.txt
Note that this doesn't just happen on suspend.

Re: Display freezes randomly

Sorry for the delay.

The latest reports from the relevant GPU are hours before the crash:

You could try to completely disable the stale GPU on 03:00 but I suspect the "freeze/crash" is a mere userspace problem, notably w/

Do you have the asme problem w/ plasma/X11 sessions?
If yes:

Linux version 6.13.0-3-cachyos

same w/ the regular kernel?
There're similar apparently EACCESS related issues in https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p2225133 and https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 1#p2225131 but one of them was completely config related so I'm not sure that's actually relevant.
