Hello,
I'm trying to install DaVinci Resolve on Arch Linux following these steps:
mkdir videotools
cd videotools
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/davinci-resolve.git
mv ~/Downloads/DaVinci_Resolve_19.1.3_Linux.zip ~/videotools/davinci-resolve/
cd davinci-resolve
makepkg -sic
resolve # this does not open the Davinci Resolve sadly
However, the installation fails. And when I try to run I get the following error:
I have already updated my system with:
sudo pacman -Syu
and checked for missing dependencies with:
resolve
resolve: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libpango-1.0.so.0: undefined symbol: g_once_init_leave_pointer
pacman -Qdtq
Does anyone know what might be causing this issue and how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance. Can someone try it and let me know what they did differently?
