[SOLVED] mpv complains in journalctl log whenever I play video

Whenever I play video by mpv, I see in journalctl log (-p4):

pw.conf: setting config.name to client-rt.conf is deprecated, using client.conf
...
pw.conf: setting config.name to client-rt.conf is deprecated, using client.conf

Is this related with pipewire?
I added to .config/mpv/config file 'ao=pulse', because I use it, but mpv still complains. How to silence it (without uninstalling)?

There is a fixed issue on github (https://github.com/mpv-player/mpv/issues/15914). I guess you have to wait for a new mpv release.

Re: [SOLVED] mpv complains in journalctl log whenever I play video

Problem started since pipewire package update to version 1.4.0-2 from 2025-03-07, mpv 1:0.39.0-4 package was from 2024-11-27.
Recent mpv package update from 2025-03-13 to version 1:0.39.0-5 solved problem. I could also remove 'ao=pulse' setting from .config/mpv/config file.
Now I see in journalctl log (-p4) this instead previous messages:

xdg-desktop-por[2903]: Realtime error: Could not get pidns: Could not fstatat ns/pid: Nie jest katalogiem
xdg-desktop-por[2903]: Realtime error: Could not get pidns: Could not fstatat ns/pid: Nie jest katalogiem

but this shows only once when video is played by mpv.
