A Simple Way to Graph System Information?

I need a simple way to graph some system info including:
load average
cpu usage
traffic on eth0 and eth1
processes

and maybe some other miscellaneous stuff.

I have tried cacti and MRTG.
with MRTG net-snmpd daemon would barely send any info, and wouldn't send the cpu usage info. I couldn't figure out how to get it to, although if I could it would be my preference.

Cacti had the same issue, it just wouldn't seem to make any graphs after I installed it.
