My new laptop uses an obscure "Motorcomm YT6801" network card, which works under Windows after installing its driver but I can't get it to work in Arch.
ifconfig just lists the "lo" interface, and this is the result of lspci -v -d ::0200
64:00.0 Ethernet controller: Motorcomm Microelectronics. YT6801 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 01)
DeviceName: Realtek Ethernet
Subsystem: AIstone Global Limited Device 7011
I saw a "tuxedo-yt6801-dkms-git" driver in AUR but installation failed (maybe because it's for Tuxedo computers)
Any help would be appreciated!

I built it just now without issues -- and I don't even have that card.
Explain how you tried to build it and post the actual output where it failed.

Sorry, you're right - after rebooting I was able to install it, and now networking works. Thanks.
