Hey, this morning I woke up to find that my wifi is not working. At the moment I'm connected by wired internet, but I really need to get wifi working again.
At the moment, the hardware shows up on lspci -k just fine:
04:00.0 Network controller: Qualcomm Technologies, Inc WCN785x Wi-Fi 7(802.11be) 320MHz 2x2 [FastConnect 7800] (rev 01)
Subsystem: Quectel Wireless Solutions Co., Ltd. Device 8000
Kernel driver in use: ath12k_pci
Kernel modules: ath12k
If I check ip link:
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00
2: enp198s0f3u1: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc fq_codel state UP mode DEFAULT group default qlen 1000
link/ether 9c:bf:0d:00:a7:2a brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
altname enx9cbf0d00a72a
The wifi interface is missing.
Also Bluetooth seems to be working fine. I checked and verified that the antennas haven't come loose.
EDIT: I ran dmsg |grep ath12k and got the following:

Ah, I see. It looks tied to to using the latest regular release kernel along with the latest firmware package? Thanks for the info.
