[SOLVED] Save as... -dialog not dark (GUI was GTK after all)

I'm asking because I want to troubleshoot why it appears light,
when everything else appears dark, since I followed the "dark mode switching" -article in archwiki.
I'm using sway in wayland.
I could add the solution to that wiki article after solving.

(sorry for constant edits, it seems I'm not experienced in writing these)

The same as the parenting application. Or not if you're using xdg-desktop-portal to invoke the file dialog.
You'll need to get more specific on the situation, name desktop environment, concerned application and the output of "pacman -Qs portal" and then maybe link (please don't embed huge images into your post) a screenshot to illustrate the situation.

Re: [SOLVED] Save as... -dialog not dark (GUI was GTK after all)

Thanks to you Seth, I solved the issue, my blunder, but here's relevant info for anyone having the same problem.
- Parenting application: Cabbage (csound editor). For some reason, gimp didn't have this problem (doesn't use portal?)
- I had installed (pacman -Qs portal): xdg-desktop-portal, xdg-desktop-portal-gtk, xdg-desktop-portal-wlr
- I use sway without(?) desktop environment

My blunder was first reading through the "Dark mode switching" article, then following to change permanently the dark variant in GTK, then blindly just changing my permanent theme into Adwaita instead of Adwaita-dark. I did have the "prefer-dark" setting in my .config/gtk-3.0/, but of course not all programs (Cabbage) respect that, so best to be explicit about the Adwaita-dark.

Unfortunately, I don't really know how to make the relevant (dark-mode) article any clearer, really.
Thanks again!
