I'm using archlinux on a ROG Zephyrus G14 and the speaker sound quality is very poor and the volume is very low
The symptoms of the problem look very similar to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=305623. Similarly, the headphones work fine, but the speakers don't. The difference is that I checked dmesg and found nothing unusual. (The driver file is cirrus/cs35l56-b0-dsp1-misc-10431b13-spkid0.wmfw)
I can confirm a few things:
1. It still works on Windows and Manjaro live CD, so it's not a hardware problem. I made sure that Windows fast startup is turned off. The Manjaro boot disk uses the same pipewire and pipewire-pulse as my arch
2. There was no such problem before, the speakers worked fine a long time ago until a certain update.
Please tell me which log files should be uploaded. I installed the latest:
pipewire, pipewire-alsa, pipewire-pulse, wireplumber and their libs
linux-firmware, sof-firmware
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I found the reason.
In alsamixer, beside speaker volume, here is also a "AMP speaker" volume in range -100db to +12db. I set it to 0db and solve my problem.
I wonder what exactly it means and why it default value is such low.
