ByPass Audio Jack Detection [SOLVED]

Hi
Recenty I bought a new motherboard Gigabyte Z170-D3H (Realtek ALC1150)
After connecting front panel audio via HD Audio cable to mainboard and plug in headphone. Gnome sound not detect it. But if you push the jack really hard OS detect it (see attachment).
I find a option in our rival, windows, in the Realtek software that disable front panel jack detection. So the headphone is always enabled and I can flawlessly listen to my music.

So I wonder if there is similar option in linux that I can enable front panel without waiting for jack detection.

-----------
p.s: the jack is working fine and only the detection part is say, loosy. and also it's deep inside the case so i cannot bring it out and just fix it. nonetheless if there is any option
like short circuit some wires on cable or on mainboard plug (connector?) I appreciate it.

Fire up alsamixer.  Select your sound card (it probably defaults to PulseAudio).  Look for controls that can be enabled/disabled, like "Auto-Mute Mode" and see if changing their state is of any help.  Without automute, you may need to manually unmute all the channels and run their volumes up.

Re: ByPass Audio Jack Detection [SOLVED]

I found this forum post via internet search looking for how to override or disable audio jack detection. Ewaller's solution resolved the issue for the original poster, but alsamixer and "auto-mute mode" did not help with my audio jack's random detection, which would often cut my line-out sound due to jack detection telling Pipewire or Wireplumber that the cable is unplugged despite the 3.5mm plug being all the way in the jack, not loose, and no force applied.

In case there are other people looking for a way to bypass automatic jack detection (as the title states), here is another solution option. Install the package alsa-tools. One of the tools in the set is HDAJackRetask. If your audio driver is compatible, the tool allows remapping audio jacks and manual override of automatic jack detection (it may only work for hardware using snd_hda_intel or similar drivers). In the GUI, check the boxes for "show unconnected pins" and "advanced override". To apply and save your custom settings, click the button "install boot override", authenticate, and reboot. To check audio jack status, use pavucontrol or run the code below in a terminal.

amixer -c 0 contents
