sddm on Hyprland

hey you Arch guys, this is my first time in here ..
i've installed Arch on Qemu ( after 1 year of using Debian )  and tried to jump into Hyprland so i've got a dotfiles package and just went from there .. everything works just fine except for my sddm catpuccin theme which is acting a bit weird as whenever i log in i start to get a cursor-like (+) hovering over my cursor !! i dont have that issue when i switch to cosmic-greeter though , .. anyone has ever faced same issue ? i'd like to get some help after spending 2 days fighting with .config files and couldn't get anywhere ..

Re: sddm on Hyprland

How did you install catpuccin-cursors? Have you tried purging any existing installation and installing the AUR package? See https://github.com/catppuccin/cursors?t … arch-linux

I'm assuming you have set the sddm cursor theme as specified in the manual: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/SDDM#Mouse_cursor

Re: sddm on Hyprland

hey sfn! thanks for your reply ..
i've installed catppuccin theme through their github repo .. i simply cloned it and followed the steps they've provided to config it ! i believe it's an sddm related issue because i've already purged the catppuccin theme whole config and tried to use only sddm package installed with pacman .. i got the same issue which is confusing !!
