Eduroam not working on a specific place

Greetings! For the past almost-a-year I have been struggling with getting Eduroam at my local school working.
You see - I am able to connect to it, and sometimes I can even ping other devices outside of the local network,
but this lasts only for a brief moment, until the device again becomes unusable. I would expect this problem to
repeat on other schools, but it does not happen there. The Laptop model I have is Lenovo ThinkPad L14. So:

- Eduroam (kind of) does not work on my laptop, only for a couple of moments, before stopping working.
- I can ping devices on the local network, but can't reach outside.
- My friend has a Lenovo Legion and struggles with a same problem - this could suggest, that it's a problem within the Linux firmware on specific Lenovo devices, but I can't be sure.
My other friend with ASUS TUF and Arch connects just fine.
- I am not banned, as I can connect just fine on my phone.
- I've tried using a RJ45 to USB converter, but that does not solve the problem.
- I've also tried observing possible NM logs, but I did not see anything unusual.
- Until I switched to Arch, while using Windows 10, on the same Lenovo laptop, the network worked well.

Any help is really appreciated, as I am getting tired of using my phone with hotspot to access the internet. Thanks!

Edit: I wanted to add that my school is not on the list on Eduroam CAT. We also have a local network, which mimics eduroam, but is not an eduroam, called Student, which acts the same as eduroam,
this kind of makes me not believe the issue is on Eduroam's side

Re: Eduroam not working on a specific place

Is it really eduroam? Does this school provide installation documentation in any way or form? Sometimes, the instructions for MacOS are very similar at least, so it might help.
You could see the Archwiki entry especially about eduroam. Some schools don't care about IT security and use outdated configuration which are not supported on Arch anymore.

Re: Eduroam not working on a specific place

I am not even sure. I have today asked my IT teacher about Wi-Fi, and he told me, that they used to provide the certificate, but don't do that anymore and no certificate is needed to connect.
Well I kinda doubt that the issue even is in the authentication anymore, as when I connect to school-provided RJ45 socket, the internet still doesn't work.

In the guide page, they only say:
> If you see a warning about an untrusted certificate when connecting, this is not an error and you should agree to connect. This is a radius server certificate that is issued by the school and not by a publicly recognized certificate authority.
