Hey everyone,
I started using linux a year ago. Until a few days ago i used debian but it got boring and i wanted a deeper understanding of linux
and switched to arch.
Thanks to all the maintainers and people writing the wiki, its awesome that all of this is avaliable for free.

Hey all,

Thomas here, jumping in from Norway.

Went all-in on Arch yesterday on my daily driver, no safety net, pen in ThinkPad E16 and go.

I've wrestled a little with DisplayLink drivers for my Lenovo dock, but somehow I have a working setup.

Linux user for half year, started with arch on my t470 then main PC.

Hello all.. I'm Rubben from Indonesia. I was a windows user who decided to use Arch based on internet recommendation. I want to join to this forum 'cause i want to know more information how to use this distribution, and ofc i also want to know which repo is danger for my system. Because i got some information that some packages from aur is contained some malware. Well, my main reason to use this distro just because i want to say "I use arch btw" to my collage friends LOL... Salam Kenal semuanya.

Hello everyone.

I am new to Linux, as I have been using it since the start of the New Year on my main PC. Fairly recently I decided to install Arch with xfce4 to an old laptop (which I am currently typing this out on) and so far it has been pretty smooth. I was motivated to install Arch due to how lightweight it is and because I wanted to learn more about the foundations of Linux and how it works.

I look forward to using Arch more in the future!
