there's a hard coded copytoram = "y" which causes the squashfs image being copied from /run/archiso/httpspace/ to /run/archiso/copytoram/, doubles RAM usage.
BTW there's a comment above saying "... make sure addresses are flushed and interface is set down", I'd assume something better than copying stuff in RAM shouldn't be too hard?

Oh, you can simply delete the one in /run/archiso/httpspace/ after booting it up, saves some 900MB of RAM.

That sounds like you boot Arch via IPXE and want to use it as a productive platform?
For me it's only an emergency system in case something in my machine or the Arch installation goes wrong.
