Hi -
Is Aide with some upstream issue?
Since last update I can't run anymore the check.
Getting the following error:
"/usr/bin/aide: error while loading shared libraries: libnettle.so.8: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
I'm on Kernel Linux 7.0.14-arch1-1 and currently with libnettle.so.9
aide 0.19.3-1 from the AUR.
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/aide
Thanks

A simple rebuild of aide should fix this.

It doesn't. I'm getting the error:
src/md.c:169:17: error: too many arguments to function ‘nettle_functions[(unsigned int)i].digest’; expected 2, have 3
make: *** [Makefile:620: all] Error 2

Interesting...this package does not mention the need for any version of libnettle, let alone a specific one. I checked the older extra/nettle3 package, which contains the so.8 version. I'm not seeing any conflicts with the newer core/nettle, so maybe they can coexist.

You've got it!
Yes, they can coexist. Just installed nettle3 and it works now.
